Stage of adaption :
We provided benchmark price indices of agri commodities recorded during auctions at APMC markets across India. We understood from our users that this information is helping them in exploring alternative markets. Based on Buyer and Seller requirements, we are connecting them via WhatsApp. We also developed technology platform that will help a rural farmer’s market function as procurement centres.
Our current technology can help redesigning agri markets with supply dependant business models that are both farmer & buyers friendly. Third-party involvement is limited to supply chain.
• Our technology could inter-connect ‘Markets’ (like warehouses or cold storages) and help processing industries plan their procurement activities.
• Farmers will have several options to sell his crop. Our application is helping farmers and buyers connect with each-other via WhatsApp to exchange product images.
• Create Self Employment: When we see markets as aggregation points, commodity that arrives into markets is creating employment for transporters and daily wage workers irrespective of its price. If we make buying and selling process easy and smooth, it will attract more supply and generate more employment in supply-chain business…
